El Gran Canaria Walking Festival es el evento de senderismo más internacional de Canarias, dirigido a los senderistas de todo el mundo. La IV edición se celebrará del 5 al 8 de noviembre de 2015 y es un evento promovido por la asociación de empresarios de turismo natural de Gran Canaria.

El programa alberga cinco rutas diseñadas para todos los gustos, con dificultad media-baja, media, y media alta para los más osados. La ruta del vino y el agua, la ruta del queso; la ruta del Valle; la ruta Cumbre de Gran Canaria; y una ruta nocturna astronómica, todas ellas adaptadas a las exigencias de los más sibaritas del senderismo.

El Pico de las Nieves, la caldera de Pinos de Gáldar, el Valle de Agaete, o El Roque Nublo son sólo algunos de los lugares por donde discurrirán las rutas. Las inscripciones ya están abiertas en la Web oficial www.grancanariawalkingfestival.com, con descuentos para federados, asociados, residentes en Canarias y repetidores.

Los precios por ruta oscilan entre los 18 y los 35 euros, e incluyen: transporte, seguro, guías especializados, picnic, y la experiencia única de disfrutar de la gran diversidad del paisaje.
