El centro cuenta con recursos expositivos que acercan al visitante todos los aspectos del espacio arqueológico de La Fortaleza. Los contenidos expositivos se exponen en 3 idiomas (español, inglés y alemán).

La sala expositiva ofrece lo mejor de la museografía tradicional con los recursos tecnológicos más novedosos. Asimismo, cuenta con escenografías hiperrealistas que presentan en un sólo espacio todo lo que este yacimiento reúne. 

El patio central se presenta como un espacio destinado a la realización de actividades puntuales de divulgación, talleres... Además, como atractivo adicional, este mismo espacio acogerá exposiciones temporales de forma continuada.

En la sala audiovisual se proyecta de forma permanente un documental que recrea la vida cotidiana de los habitantes prehispánicos del poblado de La Fortaleza.

En la terraza-mirador, los visitantes obtendrán información del entorno natural que rodea al yacimiento, así como una reproducción de una vivienda aborigen.

Así mismo, el centro cuenta con una pequeña tienda donde se podrán adquirir objetos relacionados con el yacimiento arqueológico y el pasado indígena de Gran Canaria.

Además de contar la historia de este magnífico enclave arqueológico, la realización de talleres, visitas guiadas, exposiciones temporales y diferentes eventos relacionados con la arqueología, historia y la cultura en general hacen de este lugar el idóneo para el entretenimiento de toda la familia.

The centre has attractive displays for visitors to delve into all the archaeological aspects of La Fortaleza first hand. All displays are available in three languages (English, Spanish and German).

The exhibition room offers the very best of traditional museum displays, along with all the latest technology. It has hyper realistic scenery highlighting all the settlement’s features under one roof. 

The main courtyard is set up as an activity area for presentations and workshops… and, as an added attraction, the same space will be holding temporary exhibitions all year round.

In the audiovisual room there is a permanent documentary showing of the daily lives of the pre Hispanic inhabitants from the small settlement of La Fortaleza.

Up at the viewpoint terrace, visitors can obtain information about the natural surroundings of the settlement, as well as being able to see a reproduction aboriginal home.

Likewise, the centre also has a small shop where visitors can purchase articles related to Gran Canaria’s archaeological and aboriginal past.

As well as revealing the history of this magnificent archaeological enclave, a series of initiatives including workshops, guided tours, temporary exhibitions and other events related to archaeology, history and culture in general, make this the ideal place for the whole family to come and enjoy.

Die Ausstellung im Besucherzentrum vermittelt die Geschichte der archäologischen Stätte La Fortaleza in drei Sprachen (Spanisch, Deutsch und Englisch).

In einer Kombination von traditioneller Museologie und modernsten technologischen Mitteln werden in einem einzigen Raum mit Hilfe von hyperrealen Darstellungen sämtliche Eigenheiten der Stätte präsentiert. 

Der zentrale Hof dient als Veranstaltungsort für punktuelle Ereignisse und Workshops und für Wechselausstellungen, die in kontinuierlicher Folge gezeigt werden.

Im Audiosaal veranschaulicht ein Dokumentarfilm (Endlospräsentation), wie sich das Leben im prähispanischen Höhlendorf La Fortaleza abspielte.

Die Terrasse mit Aussichtsplattform bietet Informationen über die Natur der Umgebung sowie eine Nachbildung einer aboriginen Wohnstatt.

Das Zentrum verfügt auch über ein kleines Geschäft mit Objekten und Geschenkartikeln, die sich an der indigenen Kultur Gran Canarias und der archäologischen Stätte inspirieren.

Das Ausstellungszentrum ist nicht nur ein Tor in die Vergangenheit dieser faszinierenden, archäologischen Enklave, sondern mit Workshops, Führungen, Wechselausstellungen und Veranstaltungen zu Themen aus Archäologie, Geschichte und Kultur auch ein ideales Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie.
